The procedure for programming most One For All Remote in the URC Series is the same, while the steps for other models will vary. This guide describes the complete steps to program the One For All universal remote to any TV.
How to Program One For All Remote [URC Series]
The following steps are applicable to One For All Remote remote with the model numbers URC 7980, URC 7955, URC 7120, URC 7130, URC 7962, URC 7556, URC 7557, URC 7145, URC 7140, URC 7125, URC 7115, URC 6820, URC 6440, and URC 6430.
Using Simpleset
1. Ensure your TV is turned on and point the One For All towards the TV sensor.
2. Hold the MAGIC button until the LED below the TV flashes twice.
Note: If your OFA remote doesn’t have the MAGIC button, hold the TV Power and STB Power buttons until the red LED flashes twice. Then, proceed to step 4 instead of step 3.
3. Press the DEVICES button repeatedly until the LED for the TV stays lit.
4. Hold the digit code assigned for your television brand using the below table.

5. The One For All remote will start to send Power signals until it turns the TV off. If your TV switches off completely, you can release the digit code.
6. If the TV LED flashes and turns off, the remote is ready to use.
Using Code Entry
1. Locate the code allocated for your TV by referring to the user manual. Make sure you note the right code given under the respective remote model.
2. Hold the MAGIC key on the One For All remote until the TV LED flashes twice.
Note: If your OFA remote doesn’t have the MAGIC button, hold the TV Power and STB Power buttons until the red LED flashes twice. Then, proceed to step 4 instead of step 3.
3. Repeatedly press the DEVICES key until the TV LED stops blinking and stays idle.
4. Type the 4-digit code assigned for your television brand. If the code is valid, the TV LED will flash twice and turn off.
5. Point the remote towards the TV sensor and tap the POWER key.
If your TV switches off, the remote programming is successfully completed.
Learning from Original Remote
1. Keep the TV’s original remote approximately 3 cm from the One For All remote. Ensure they point to one another.
2. Hold the MAGIC key on the remote and release it if the LED under the TV starts flashing twice.
3. Ensure the TV LED on the remote stays lit using the DEVICES key.
4. Using the remote’s number pad, type 975 in sequence. Once the code is entered, the TV LED will blink twice.
5. Press and release the button you want to learn a function. For example, if you tap the A key, The Watch TV, Listen To Music, and Custom LEDs will glow.
6. Then, press and release the same button on the original remote.
7. The LED below the TV will flash twice to indicate that the button has been learned. Similarly, you can copy all the remote functions you want.
8. If you have completed learning all the functions, hold the MAGIC button until the LED flashes twice and switches off.
How to Program a One For All Streamer Remote [URC 7935]
There are three ways to set up an OFA Streamer Remote, which are as follows.
Using Simpleset
1. Turn on your TV using the physical power button. Ensure that a media file is playing on the streaming box.
2. Aim the remote at the TV and press and hold the TV Power and Back buttons simultaneously.
3. Release both buttons once the yellow light on the ring flashes twice.
Note:
- Suppose you want to pair the remote with a streaming device or digital media box, press and hold the Streamer Power and Home buttons simultaneously. Release these buttons if the red light on the ring flashes twice.
- To pair a remote with an audio receiver or soundbar, press and hold the Vol+ and Vol- buttons together. If the green light on the ring flashes twice, release these buttons.
4. Press and hold the appropriate key based on your TV brand.
5. The remote will send the Power key to the TV every 3 seconds.
- For the streaming box, it will send the Play/Pause function.
- For the AV receiver/soundbar, the remote will send Mute until it mutes the device’s volume.
6. You can release the key once the TV is turned off.
7. The green light will flash twice on the ring of the remote, indicating that the pairing is completed.
Using Code Entry
1. Note down the remote codes for your TV brand by checking the user manual of your One For All Streamer remote. If you don’t have a user manual, you can get the One For All remote codes by visiting this link.
2. Turn on your TV and aim the remote at the TV.
3. Press and hold the TV Power and Back buttons simultaneously.
4. Release these buttons if the yellow light on the ring flashes twice.

Learning from Original Remote
If your original remote is in working condition, you can use the Learning feature to program the One For All remote. Here’s how to do it.
1. Aim the original remote to the One For All remote, as shown in the image. The distance between both remotes should be 2-5cm.
2. Press the TV Power and Mute buttons until the red light flashes twice.
3. Press and release any button once to learn a function. The remote indicator light will flash once and turn off.
4. Then, press the same button on your original remote.
5. The green light on the OFA remote will flash twice. The corresponding key is now learned.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to learn all the functions.
7. Once you have learned all the functions, press and hold the TV Power button.
8. As a result, the green light on the ring will flash four times to indicate that the pairing is finished.
How to Program One For All Smart Streamer Remote
To set up a URC 7945 Smart Streamer Remote, you need to rely on the My Nevo app. This app can communicate with the OFA remote using Bluetooth Low Energy or BLE.
1. Get the My Nevo app on your iPhone or Android device from the App Store or Play Store.
2. Once the installation is complete, run the app to scan and detect your OFA remote. The app may take up to thirty seconds to connect to the remote. This is a one-time check to verify if the remote’s firmware is up to date.
3. If the app has connected to the remote, it will prompt you to press the Home button. You have to press this key if the blue LED flashes.
How to Program One For All Zapper Remote URC 8810
1. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on your phone as a prerequisite.
2. Run the My Nevo app on your smartphone and select Zapper Remote.
3. The Zapper Remote pairing wizard will be initiated.
4. You need to hold the Power key on the Zapper remote until the blue ring flashes twice.
5. Keep the Zapper remote in a position where it has a clear line of sight to the device you want to control.
6. On the My Nevo app, tap the Menu icon on the top right.

How to Program OFA Smart Control Pro Remote [URC 7966]
1. Launch the My Nevo app on your mobile device and select Smart Control Pro as your remote.
2. The app will prompt you to hold the OK button for three seconds. You can do it only if the blue LED under the TV button starts to blink.
3. Click Search for remote. Once it finds the remote, you will be asked to choose the device you wish to operate.
4. Tap Add TV and choose the brand of it.
5. After that, point the remote towards the selected device. The app will show you a few keys to press and test the remote. If they function properly, click Keys work! to continue.
6. Now, the app will configure your remote to control the selected device.
How to Program Smart Control PS3 Remote [URC 7965]
1. Insert 2 AA alkaline batteries into the One For All PS3 adapter. If you don’t have one, you can buy batteries from Amazon.
2. Power on your TV and PlayStation 3 console and pair the Game Controller.
3. Go to Settings, select Accessory Settings, and choose Register BD Remote Control.
4. Press the X key on your PS3 Game Controller.
