2. Press the “9” button and check if a red LED light flashes once.
3. Next, press the “8” button, and you will see a blinking red light once.
4. Press the “1” button. Now, the LED flashes red two times.
5. Finally, press the OK button and hold it for 3 seconds.
If the red light blinks four times on the DStv A7 remote, the reset is completed.
Steps to Reset DStv A6 Remote to Factory Settings
1. Press and hold the STANDBY and ARC keys simultaneously for 3 seconds. The LED light will flash in amber.
2. Hold down the ARC button and release the STANDBY button. The amber light will start to blink on the DStv A6 remote.
3. While keeping hold of the ARC button, enter 9949. The amber light will blink each time you press the number. Upon pressing the last number, the green light will blink.
