Before resetting the remote and the Foxtel Now box, here are a few things you need to check.
- Wake the Remote: Press Power on the remote → Press the Volume +/- buttons 5 times → If the LED flashes orange underneath the Foxtel Now box and the volume bar appears on the TV screen, the remote has no issue.
- Test Remote Functions and Foxtel Now box: Press any buttons on the remote and see if the LED flashes red. To check the Foxtel Now box, press any button on the remote and see if the LED flashes red underside the box.
- Check the Battery Level: Go to Settings → System Settings → Go to system settings → Foxtel remote → See the battery charge level under the Battery section.
How to Reset Foxtel Voice Remote
1. Eject the 2 AA batteries from the Foxtel remote.
2. Press all the remote buttons one by one to drain the residual power left in the remote.

1. If you have Foxtel iQ3, press the Standby key on the front right of the Foxtel box. If you have Foxtel HD+, press the Select and Back keys on the left side of the box.
2. Keep hold of the Standby button for five seconds.
3. The Foxtel Now box will restart to finish the resetting process.
4. Once it gets restarted, pair the Foxtel remote and check whether the issue is fixed.
